The Generations and Gender Programme (GGP) and Population Europe are pleased to announce the upcoming Stakeholder Seminar “The Future of the Generations to Come: Youth, Work-Life Balance and Solidarity in Europe”, to be held at the European Parliament on 23 January 2018.
Hosted by Members of the European Parliament Alessia Mosca, Brando Benifei, and Emilian Pavel, the seminar will bring together representatives from public policy, civil society, and the research community.
The programme will feature keynote presentations by leading scholars Francesco Billari (Bocconi University), Trude Lappegård (University of Oslo), and Emily Grundy (University of Essex), followed by a panel debate with experts from Eurofound, Deutsches Jugendinstitut, COFACE-Families Europe, AGE Platform Europe, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the European Commission. Discussions will focus on new and emerging societal challenges, and the role of social science data infrastructures in supporting evidence-based policymaking.
