The GGP was well represented at the Growing Up In Digital Europe (GUIDE) conference 'Evidence for child wellbeing policy making' on October 23rd and the COORDINATE project meeting on October 24th-25th. Both events took place in Florence, Italy.

The first GUIDE conference had invited speakers from from the European Social Survey ERIC, SHARE ERIC and the GGP for a panel discussion on European survey research infrastructures and their potential for science and policy making. Letizia Mencarini, from the Italian national team represented the GGP. During the discussion, Mencarini highlighted the importance of the comparability of data across countries for the uptake among scientific and policy-oriented users.

At the COORDINATE project meeting Vytenis Juozas Deimantas from the GGP's Central Hub presented the final results of the non-scientific longitudinal data user workshops. Throughout 2023, 247 individuals employed at NGOs, in the media and in public service have attended 17 national workshops organised in Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Moldova and Lithuania. In the workshops they learned how they can use longitudinal and cohort studies in their every-day work.
