We are pleased to announce that the Czech Generations and Gender Programme (GGP-CZ) has been approved as the latest addition to the Czech national roadmap of large research infrastructures. Notably, GGP-CZ is the only new research infrastructure featured in this edition of the roadmap.
This approval underscores the Czech government's commitment to funding the continued operation and development of GGP-CZ through 2026 and potentially beyond, pending a successful evaluation. It also signifies full commitment and political support for the establishment of GGP-ERIC.
As a result, the Czech GGP team, led by Principal Investigator Martin Kreidl at Masaryk University and co-PI Anna Šťastná at Charles University, can now accelerate preparations for Wave 2 of GGS-II, which is scheduled to commence in early 2025.
