On April 27 the GGP Central Coordination team took part in the 2023 United Nations World Data Forum (UNWDF) which was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province in China.
Fieldwork and Data Officer Siyang Kong gave an online presentation titled ‘The Generations and Gender Programme: A Global Data Infrastructure for Evidence-based Policies and Decision Marking on Demographic Issues in Europe, Asia and South America.'
The aim of the UNWDF is to "spur data innovation, nurture partnerships, mobilize high-level political and financial support for data, and build a pathway to better data for sustainable development”. Click here for more information on the UNWDF.
